Welcome to Whitchurch Golf Club, Cardiff
Croeso i Glwb Golff yr Eglwys Newydd, Caerdydd

Whitchurch (Cardiff) Golf Club lies three and a half miles north of the City of Cardiff. The Clubhouse and Golf Course are situated on elevated ground overlooking Cardiff City, with Penarth Head prominently visible and the Somerset Coast and Bristol Channel completing a grand panorama.

The Golf Course

The course is sheltered from the north by the Wenallt Hills and guarding these hills stands Castell Coch, an historical thirteenth century castle, reconstructed into a fantastical folly. This forms a picturesque setting at all times of the year.

The Golf Club was founded in 1914 and has developed into a fine Parkland course which is rightly noted for its testing Par 3 and Par 4 holes. The amateur course record is 63, with the Professional record held by Ian Woosnam with 62.

“On behalf of everyone at Bellway and all our attendees yesterday, thank you to you and your team for such a great day yesterday. We have received loads of amazing comments and feedback about the course, the staff, food, and the club itself, so thank you once again for all your help and support in ensuring we had a great day yesterday – you even managed to arrange the weather for us! ”
Estelle (Bellway Homes)

“"I would just like to say a very big thank you on behalf of all the ladies from Cottrell Park who played at the course today. All arrangements were well done, we enjoyed the course and the catering, so thank you to all your staff"”
Judith Jessop (Cottrell Park)
“Just a great challenge. Every hole different, fast, tricky greens and bunkering to catch all errant shots. Great views of the city and Millennium Stadium.”
Steve Harris
“Thought I would take the opportunity to say what a great course you have, which was a pleasure to play and kept in pristine condition, we were on a reciprocal trip from Langland where we too enjoy an excellent course and facilities. When I say pristine, I don’t just relate to the fairways and greens, but the whole course, changing rooms, toilets, clubhouse, pro shop, practice areas etc where it is clear much time and effort is made to keep it that way, so please pass on thanks to the ground staff, management and members who clearly work together to achieve this feat. ”
